Rainfed Organics A2 Desi Cow Bilona Ghee
Rainfed Organics A2 Desi Cow Bilona Ghee is made for homes that still value the taste of traditional Indian food.
Prepared using the age-old Bilona method, this ghee is made from cultured curd and slowly heated to bring out its natural golden colour, rich aroma, and grainy homemade texture. It is not just a cooking ingredient it is the kind of ghee that makes simple food feel complete, whether added to hot dal, fresh roti, khichdi, rice, sweets, or festive meals.
The Bilona method takes more time, but that patience is what gives the ghee its deep aroma and familiar homemade character. Every spoonful carries the warmth of traditional Indian kitchens, where food was made slowly, carefully, and with respect for simple ingredients.
Use it for daily cooking, topping rotis, making sweets, adding flavor to dal and khichdi, or keeping it for pooja and traditional use.

Bilona Method
In the traditional Bilona process, milk is first set into curd. The curd is then churned to separate makkhan. This makkhan is slowly heated until it turns into pure golden ghee with a rich aroma and deep flavor.
This slow method gives the ghee its natural fragrance, texture, and traditional taste.
Ingredients
A2 Desi Cow Ghee
Best For
Roti, paratha, dal, khichdi, rice, halwa, laddoo, sweets, pooja use, and everyday Indian cooking.
Storage Info
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a clean, dry spoon. Keep the lid tightly closed after every use. Natural texture may change with temperature, but the quality remains intact when stored properly.
Everyday cooking
Use ghee anywhere you'd use butter or refined oil — for sautéing, tempering, roasting, or finishing a dish. It has a high smoke point (~250°C), making it suitable for frying and deep-frying.
Dal & sabzi
Add a spoonful of ghee to hot dal or sabzi before serving. The ghee melts on contact and adds a rich, nutty depth. This is how most Indian home cooking uses ghee — as a final flourish, not just a cooking medium.
Roti & rice
A generous smear of ghee on freshly made rotis or a spoonful mixed into hot rice with salt is one of the oldest and most satisfying ways to eat.
Storage
Store at room temperature in a dry, airtight container away from direct sunlight. Bilona ghee keeps well for 6–12 months without refrigeration. Do not use a wet spoon — water introduces moisture which reduces shelf life.
